Wind Symphony

The score for this minimalist work consists of nine rhythmic motives listed on one sheet of paper. It includes the following direction: “In playing, seek resonant situations, of any dynamics, by listening to the whole sound and contributing what is most needed. If performance is not working, seek unities–such as returning to the pulse, or doubling up or overlapping on a particular motive or two. Pulse can include an off-beat and other ornamentations.”
